HELP categories on website

  I’ve been trying to figure out how we can incorporate a widget so that our website visitors can search for our artists based on their location. For example, they can choose between “denmark”, “usa”, “germany” etc. where the relevant artists, DJs and producers will show up. Ive tried being on youtube for hours, and it seems very complicated. Especially because there is this difference between pages, posts and categories, and frankly I’m quite confused.

  I also noticed there is a difference between a “post” and then the “posts” I’ve made under their own pin. If I want to make a normal post the appearance it looks different than when I want to make a post under the pin “artists” I made. But I thought a post was a post?
  
  Also the reason why the artist pages are made as post and not pages, is because it seemed to work better with the layout and adding of spotify link, SoMe etc. But now it seems like it’s not possible to make the location widget?
  
  Help help help. Ive been fooling around for days trying to figure out what to do.
