Hi there,
Can you please try deleting that pending email change and then re-entering the new email address you want to use? That will resend the confirmation email to your new email address so you can complete the change.
If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam/junk folder and, if you are using Gmail, your Social and Promotions tabs there.
Please let me know if you have any more trouble with that!

I canceled the original request and put in the email address again. Now it tells me that email address is already being used.
But I continue to receive all WordPress communications on the old one.
Help!

I checked the new email address you’re trying to switch to, and it’s already being used with a different WordPress.com account. If you can’t remember the login details for that account, you can reset the password by entering the email address here:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Each WordPress.com account needs to use a unique email address, so you’ll need to choose a different email address for this account (or change the other account to use a different one).
