  i don’t want people to comment on my blog, how do I take that out?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,
  If the site is new then just uncheck the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” box in the Default article settings. See the Default Article Settings section of the Discussion Settings support page.

  lilquart – let us know if you need further help with this. As musicdoc1 said, there are two steps:

  1 – Turn off commenting on all fugure posts
  2 – Turn off commenting on already published posts

  Let us know how it goes.
