HELP!!! CRISIS! RESTORE permanentley deleted pictures…
-
After blogging for several years now, for the first time i got the message that my media library was full. I decided to delete some pictures to free up some space for new. You can call me stupid, but when i “permanentley deleted” these pictures, i had no idea that the pictures would also be deleted from my blogg posts. This is at least one year of work and hundreds of ours now lost.
I thought me deleting the pictures would only delete them from the library “behind” the blogg.
Is there anyone who can help me. This is a crisis, since this is what gives me my income… Please: )
I did this only 30 min. ago, is there no way to restore my site back one hour or something?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you delete images from your Media Library there are no longer on WordPress.COM servers and will NOT be displayed in posts or pages when browsers call for the servers to display them because they no longer exist on the servers. You have to upload them again. Staff cannot restore them for you. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/09/20/omg-my-images-are-gone/

Thank you for answering. I must say i think it is really frustrating that it doesn’t say somewhere that it also deletes the picture from my blogpost!!!! I guess its about a thousand pictures… Over a hundred posts :( :( :( right now i feel like giving the whole thing up.
But again, tnx for answering me -

@smakavhimmel, sorry about you losing your images. Let me see if there is anyway I can get those restored for you. I’ll report back as soon as I hear something.

@thesacredpath
And, you are awesome, especially if the image cache has not been cleared and you can restore these . :) -

@smakavhimmel – @thesacredpath being staff he can access all WordPress.com sites without any need for password/login information.

@smakavhimmel, our systems people have restored the backup from 2015-08-11 19:00:00 UTC, which should have brought back all your images from the time before you started deleting them. Check your site over and see if it looks like everything is there and let me know.
You may want to take a read through our Support Page on Image Optimization for some ideas on how to keep your images looking good, but keep them at a smaller file size so they take up less space as you go forward.

For anyone coming to this thread in the future wanting to know about deleting images from your Media library to make more room, the images are not embedded into your posts. A link in your posts references the images from your Media Library. If you delete an image from the Media Library that is inserted into a post, that image will be gone from the post. See the link I gave above on Image Optimization for ways to keep your Media Library from getting full.
