Help – CSS problem
-
I recently upgraded to do CSS and followed instructions using the Sandbox theme. The CSS customization didn’t work and after a few other attempts I gave up – cursing the spend of $’s that I shouldn’t have blown. I went back to the Themes option and chose another theme. Applied it. But although the Theme ‘took’, the background didn’t show up. I have tried so many other themes and the same thing has happened. I asked for support over 3 weeks ago but haven’t heard back.
So basically I am stuck. Can anyone help? (As you may have worked out, I have no techincal CSS knowledge ;) – I was really planning on uploading a free theme and leaving it at that – no tweaking).

Thats why its important to read about FAQ, we can’t upload themes here, and its advised that if you dont know CSS, then don’t buy the upgrade and remember that there is no official CSS forum. With that said, your background probably isn’t showing up because you have to add your own. Right now, until someone else comes along, I would suggest that you check out other themes using CSS, its actually not that hard, very basic once you get used to it.

“Thats why its important to read about FAQ,” I meant
Thats why its important to read the FAQ, -
Delete whatever code you have in your CSS editor. Make sure the first radio button is checked (the one that reads “Add to existing CSS”) and save. That should fix it.
Be adviced that there’s no official CSS support and that you cannot upload any theme – or copy the CSS of whatever theme into the editor and expect it’ll work.
HTH.

Most excellent help devblog – appreciated. It seems to have worked. I realise there is no official CSS support (and I did read the FAQ’s) – just wanted to put things back the way they came – thanks again.
