Help! Customizable header and avatar.

  I am new to wordpress, and I have been trying to upload an image for my blog header. I have tried the image normally, as well as scaling it down to the write number of pixels… but still it’s won’t work! This also happens with my avatar.

  The page just says it’s loading but nothing happens.

  Hang on…. I’ve been trying to upload a Bitmap image… I shall try a jpeg or gif….
