Help delete blog?

    Hi,

    I moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and am having trouble with deleting my wordpress.com site.

    When I go to tools>delete site, it shows the following:

    Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.

    If you do not want to use your blog any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the blog but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.

    I transfered the domain name (slomotravel.com) to Bluehost and my new site shows successfully at slomotravel.com. But slomotravel.com is still showing as a domain name in my WordPress account which is why I am unable to delete my site.

    The domain slomotravel.com has not been transferred and is still pointing towards your WordPress.com site:

    http://who.is/whois/slomotravel.com

    I did this whole processs. However i recieved the following email:

    “We are contacting you to notify you that your request to transfer
    the domain name slomotravel.com was rejected by your current registrar
    Wild West Domains, Inc..

    In order to resolve this issue, please contact Wild West Domains, Inc..
    Wild West Domains, Inc. should be able to provide the reason why the transfer
    was rejected, and assist you with ensuring the transfer away from their
    system succeeds.

    Once the issue at Wild West Domains, Inc. has been resolved, the transfer
    can be re-initiated through your Domain Manager here at
    Bluehost.

    Private Registration was still enabled for this domain.

    I’ve disabled it and have sent the EPP code to you.

    Please try initiating the transfer, once again.

    If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.
