The authors have deleted this site.Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address. If you delete a blog you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that blog address. You must be sure you never want to use the blog again if you delete it. There are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent. A verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If you clicked it and the blog was deleted it’s game over. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Well, that was foolish. As each of the three sets of warnings and email confirmation say, deletion is permanent and irreversible. Neither you nor anyone else can use that URL ever again.
There is, however, a Google Cache of your blog, so that means you can copy the posts and paste them into a new blog http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:i3bhURQn4e8J:flowersomg.wordpress.com/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca&client=ubuntu
In the future, don’t ignore these kinds of warnings.

Wow, raincoaster. Let’s kick people when they’re down. Is there a thread explaining why this is permanent? I’ve read through all the “How to delete a blog” FAQ’s, but it doesn’t say why it’s permanent.
What’s to stop someone from registering dozens of great site names (potentially infringing on trademarks) and then just deleting them all? It’s a loophole that could ruin it for everybody. It seems exceptions can be made in situations of legitimate user error.

Nothing whatsoever to stop them. There are no exceptions to the policy of irreversible deletions.
