help deleting a site

I have an old wordpress site that I would like to delete. It is for Boreal Forest Teas. I can’t figure out how to do this? When I log in to your site, it says the site does not exist, but if I google it, I can find it. Can you please help?

What is the address of a site you wish to delete?
Make sure you are logged in with a correct account with which you had created that particular site.
Below link shows how to delete a website.
Please note Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address
You can also Empty your site if you wish to start over from scratch keeping current WordPress.com address

If https://borealforestteas.wordpress.com/ is a free site you can only delete it if you can gain access to it. The username appears to be

Do you remember the password? If not, but you still have access to the email address associated with the site then you can just type in the username and get a password reset.

Could you let me know how did you manage to find out username associated with that site?

@ sachintawade/neverbackdown Only staff can give a 100% correct answer but volunteers can take an educated guess with a little detective work. Perhaps there are comments on the site that the owner has replied to. Does the creation date of that username that replied to a comment match with the first post on the site? Adding /amp/ to the URL of a post gives the author who may well be the owner as long as the site hasn’t multiple authors. In this instance just visiting the front page of the site gave an author/possible username….that’s if I turn out to be right of course……

Just confirming that @themagicrobot is correct — borealforestteas.wordpress.com is owned by borealforestteas so you will need to login or reset the password with that username.

@gemmacevans Apologies for my error. In this instance I was quite wrong! Mostly the username does indeed match the site address and for some reason I jumped to the wrong conclusion here.
