help deleting stuff i didnt put in

    there is a photo on my first post and a quote and i didnt put them there and dont know how to delete them

    Hello Kevin,

    Great first step to setting up your blog! And… LOL @ your blog name. Hopefully, you’ll be high-fiving Jeselnik (sp?) for nudging you to start a blog.

    I think I can explain what you’re seeing.

    When you set up your blog and choose a theme, it throws in the clumped up name of your blog ‘jeselniksaidtostartablog’ and sometimes set up a random tagline to give you a visual idea of how your words will lay out on the website when you change them.

    Think of it as an example of how the font, the colors, the positioning will look like – with less concern on the words because, you’re the boss of your blog! You can change it to whatever you’d like.

    Let me know if the following steps work for you:

    1.) On the top left corner, click on ‘My Site’.

    2.) On the left menu (where you see View Site, Stats, Activity, Plan) – scroll down until you see ‘Customize’ – then, give it a click.

    3.) It should pull up your website and a menu on the left. You can click on ‘Site Identity’ to change the wording you see (Site Title and Tagline).

    4.) You can change the background colors and image by clicking on the ‘Colors & Backgrounds’.

    5.) Remember, you can go back to the previous menu by click on the ‘<‘ on the top of the menu (just under the ‘X’).
