HELP!!!! Did my entire site just get deleted?
-
I’ve been hosting my WordPress site on a subdomain of my the main domain I own. I wanted to explore moving my site from the subdomain (blog.lucybethcreates.com) to my main domain (lucybethcreates.com). I went to my General Settings and changed the WordPress Address URL and the Site Address URL from the subdomain to the main domain (blog.lucybethcreates.com to lucybethcreates.com) just to see what would happen, if it would be a quick fix instead of having to export the whole site.
It asked me to log in again and then EVERYTHING WAS GONE! None of my posts or my theme or anything are there anymore, and I don’t know how to get them back. I tried switching the domain back to blog.lucybethcreates.com but it keeps redirecting or something and now I can’t get into the wp-admin for either domain. HELP ME!

Hi there,
Your site is not a WordPress.com site, but a self-hosted WordPress.org site. Your site most likely still exists on Bluehost’s servers where you installed it, but when you changed the domain in the Admin dashboard it broke the domain’s connection with your site. To fix this you’ll need to log into your cPanel at Bluehost and configure the new domain there as well.
For help with doing this you’ll need to contact Bluehost support, as we don’t have access to the site with them. You can also ask in the self-hosted WordPress.org forums for advice exactly how to fix this:
