  There is no mapping to be deleted. It says DNS needs to be updated?

  Domain Helper is showing some type of mapping – you need to be in the account that owns the upgrade to cancel the domain mapping –

  Are you refering to canceling the mapping by logging into blog.com and doing it from that end…or canceling the one that is not functioning at this end on my wordpress dahsboard? I am so sorry that I am getting confused. Please dont give up on me. :)

  That should do it – might take a bit of time for the changes to migrate a bit – but the changes are all internal to WordPress.COM so should be only a few hours at most

  I still am not able to access my blog twenty thirteen through the link //margber.wordpress.com/

  No Domain Mapping Found

  There is no domain mapping upgrade for margber.com.

  This is good – I still get directed to margber.com – so we could be dealing with a propagation issue or a local cache problem (my browser keeping some old info.

  So I would expect http://margber.wordpress.com/ to start working soon

  Yes, It is working now. Thank You.

  Since I have little to no chance of renewing my domain, I want to cut all ties with Blog.com. My question is, If I delete that account and everything with it, will that have any bearing on my current Site here at WP since it was once linked?

  Perhaps this entire mess was a blessing in disguise!! To be free of Blog.com would be a joy!! : )

  Blog.com can do no more damage to you. Canceling the account will have no effect on your blog here.

  The part that sucks is not being able to renew the domain name and transfer it to a Registrar that is easier to deal with. I hope you can recover the domain name somehow
