HELP!! Domain Mapping
-
Hi,
I own the domain: premaandprana.com
I use GODADDY for domain hosting.
Currently, I have Shopify setup to run on this domain:
https://premaprana.myshopify.com/
https://premaandprana.com/I also have my blog:
http://www.premaandpranablog.wordpress.com——
What I would like to do is have my blog use:
https://premaandprana.com/
https://www.premaandprana.com/.. and for my shopify to use:
https://shop.premaandprana.com/I attempted to do this myself earlier, and I think I messed something up, because now http://www.premaandpranablog.wordpress.com redirects to https://premaandprana.com/.
Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
So first thing, you want your blog at premaandpranablog.wordpress.com to show at your domain, premaandprana.com, correct? To do that you need to complete two more steps:
1) You need to point your domain’s name servers to us. You can find GoDaddy’s instructions to do that here:
https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317
The name servers you should use are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
2. Go to My Site ->Domains and change the primary domain on your site to your custom domain.
Next, to have your Shopify store show at shop.premaandprana.com, you need to create a subdomain.
Looks like Shopify’s instructions are here:
On our end, you can see here how to edit your domain’s DNS:
So, in our DNS section, create a new CNAME, type “shop” in the first box, and add shops.myshopify.com in the second box. Then verify it on Shopify’s end and you should be all set. Note that you won’t be able to verify on Shopify’s end until the name servers have changed and completely updated, which can take few hours.
