help domain renewal

  I am trying to renew our domain name but every time i press the link to renew it it takes me to the same page and lets me do nothing

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It looks like you were able to sort this out because ssbceffingham.org is showing an expiration date of September 23, 2016.

  My site of “artbydesmond.com” was a domain that I paid for and transferred to wordpress from ix webhosting. It was included in my wordpress upgrade, which is due this month [October]. Now, ix webhosting is billing me for the domain. Thanks as I am a little confused. What do I need to do?

  @timdesmondblog – Hosting can be transferred to WordPress.com (as you’ve done), but domain registration can’t. You’ll still need to pay ix webhosting in order for artbydesmond.com to work properly. If you don’t, then that domain will expire: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

  I’m not sure how that was handled with the upgrade billing. If you want to ask WordPress.com staff about it, add “modlook” to the tags in this forum thread.
