Help! Drop down menus no longer dropping down

  Please help – my drop down menus on my top navbar are no longer dropping down. It’s been happening for a few weeks now, and I haven’t updated anything for the last few months. I’ve noticed that if I hover over a menu item while the page is refreshing, it will drop down just for a brief moment, but by the time the page is fully loaded that functionality will stop.

  I don’t know much about coding, but if someone can tell me the section of code that would be helpful to see I can try to copy and paste here.

  Also, I’m using Thematic and I’m on WordPress 3.0.1 because I’m scared to update since I have so many widgets.
