Help – e-mailing followers

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello – I am pretty new to wordpress and have created a blog that will be used as a website. I am encouraging people to ‘follow’ but whenever I update the blog, they receive a notification that appears to be in prgramming code … which, of course, is not what I intended. I presume I’ve got something wrong in settings – or somewhere else. I’d like followers to know there’s something new on the page, but not the techno-jargon. Help!!!! Cheers, Jeni

We sent out the notification in so-called HTML markup, which makes the e-mail look beautiful. If the receiver’s e-mail client doesn’t support that, they may see techno-jargon. Unfortunately we can’t change this. Please ask the receiver to turn on HTML e-mail visibility, or to update their e-mail client.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
