Our entire website has disappeared and there shows a fatal error when trying to log onto the site. http://www.rescuedheartsnorthwest.org

The admin site showed a JetPack plugin error so I click on disconnect and our site is now gone?
    WTF?

    Please help, TIA!

And now the account profile shows no linked site?

  • Hi there,

The admin site showed a JetPack plugin error so I click on disconnect and our site is now gone?

This is normal – once you disconnect Jetpack, the site won’t appear under your WordPress.com username account any more, as the Jetpack connection is what causes the site to be listed there in the first place.

First things first – did deactivating Jetpack resolve the fatal error? If so, completely delete the Jetpack folder from your site via FTP (you’ll need to contact your host for help accessing that).

Then reinstall Jetpack via WP-Admin, and follow the prompts to reconnect it to your WordPress.com account.

If Jetpack gave a fatal, it’s likely because a file got corrupted during an update, or else the update itself timed out. If that’s the case, you shouldn’t see any more errors after you reinstall and reconnect Jetpack.

If you do, it’s best to contact the Jetpack team directly at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/
