Help finding the correct blog…
-
I have multiple blogs under the SouthShoreStyle.com name. I want to keep the one that I requested premium service for that comes with the .com and not the wordpress.com. Can you please direct me to the correct one? I’m confused as there are 3 of them out there for some reason.
Thanks for your help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like you have created a handful of similar blogs including:
southshorestylish.wordpress.com
southshorestylishdotcom.wordpress.com
southshorestylishdotcom1.wordpress.com
southshorestylishdotcom2.wordpress.com
southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.comYour Premium bundle trial is on southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com. However, I’m happy to move it to southshorestylish.wordpress.com if you would like.
Once we get the Premium bundle on the correct blog, you’ll need to register the custom domain (the custom domain comes with the bundle) following the instructions here:
Then, I can help you delete the extra blog addresses to reduce confusion. To start, just confirm you’d like me to move the Premium bundle for you!

Hi again! I’m trying to register the domain SouthShoreStylish.com to southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com for which I have a free premium trial for and it’s attempting to charge me for it. Isn’t a domain included in the bundle package?
Thanks for all your help.Hilary

Hey Hilary!
You’re correct; the Premium bundle does come with a domain credit. However, the Premium bundle trial is a bit different. When you register a domain through WordPress.com, we’re charged a fee for the domain by the registrar. So, to avoid having users start the free trial then register a domain and cancel the trial effectively getting a domain for free, we require payment details when purchasing a domain on the trial. Does that make sense?
When you use a trial bundle to purchase a domain, you have a few options when the trial is over:
- You can allow the bundle to renew, meaning you would purchase the entire $99 bundle and keep the domain.
- You can opt to cancel the domain and the bundle. In that scenario, you would not pay anything.
- You can elect to cancel the bundle but pay for the domain. In that scenario, you would only pay for the cost of the domain (not the bundle).
Does that help to clarify the situation?
Moving forward, we need to work out your multiple blog situation! So, I moved your Premium bundle trial from southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com to southshorestylish.wordpress.com assuming you would want the cleaner URL. Unless you want to revert this change, you’ll want to publish everything to southshorestylish.wordpress.com. Does that make sense?
Let’s go ahead and clean this up a bit to avoid confusion. Can you first confirm that you would like to move forward with just southshorestylish.wordpress.com? If so, please follow these steps:
- Export the content from southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com following the instructions here:
- Import the content into southshorestylish.wordpress.com following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/import - Delete the following duplicate sites:
- southshorestylishdotcom.wordpress.com
- southshorestylishdotcom1.wordpress.com
- southshorestylishdotcom2.wordpress.com
- southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com
You can do that following the instructions here:
After that, you should have a simplified account. Then, we can look at adding your domain to southshorestylish.wordpress.com.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
