Help For Dummies Like Me

Help for Dummies like me, seems to be nowhere to be found on WP. The “smarties” crowd out all attempts to help the slow ones. We need a board strictly for dummies, newbies, and slow learners like me who ARE NOT techies, or techie wannabes. For God’s sake is this not a no brainer?
The dummies, like me are the most discriminated group on this whole site. We need basic simple stuff designed for NON-TECHIES, and we need a board that is strictly for those aforesaid dummies who need help, AND those who want to help them for free or for some other kind of consideration.
Is this a novel idea or what? And don’t tell me you already do this, for I have never found it. Again, maybe I’m even too dumb to find this miracle kind of help for USUNS, the technically handicapped disabled ones. Please remember, we “little people” carry on our backs all the rest of civilization that the techies don’t even know exists. FYI, it’s called “content.”

Yes, I agree, it is not so easy to find basic info here. As volunteers in this peer to peer forum ( for the most part it’s a blogger to blogger forum: staff does look in and advise on threads), we volunteers really do try our best to be helpful.

In my humble opinion, volunteers are already doing this and they have for years, but it takes effort on both ends to make it work. Last year someone tried to help you but you never followed up…
Also, we don’t know if you have a blog hosted at WordPress.COM blog or a WordPress.ORG self-hosted blog, so until we do, that limits our ability to help you:
