Help- free wordpress site/cancelling hosting with name hero

Hello I switched to namehero and I am cancelling them from hosting. I want to just have my free wordpress site until I can figure out a path forward. How do I get back to just wordpress. TIA
Also I am not techy at all so please bare with me.

The site hosted elsewhere would be complete separate to a site hosted on WordPress.com – essentially, there’s two sites at play here.
To access alittleofthisandthat365.wordpress.com you would need to just sign in to WordPress.com.
To use the domain myhautetalk.com with a site with WordPress.com, the site would need to have a paid plan, and then the domain could be mapped for free as seen here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
