Help getting domain name back

    Hi WordPress,

    I cancelled my premium upgrade after the free trial for the domain samanthasartori.com
    I did not realize I was not going to be able to get the domain back. Is there anything I can do to get the domain again?

    Hi!

    I have reached out to the registrar to recover the domain and restore it back to your account. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out more!

    Hi!

    I heard back from the registrar. I’m able to restore the domain to your account. However, the domain (samanthasartori.com) is currently in redemption meaning it is in a holding period where it could be sold to another user at auction.

    There are two options:

    1. To recover the domain immediately, you’ll need to pay an $80 late fee (charged to us by the registrar).

    2. Otherwise, the domain should become available again within the next 30-40 days (potentially shorter) for regular registration.
