  i am tearing my hair out trying to sort out my new site. all i want to do is a simple blog, i just want to change the background colour. i cant even change the theme, i have selected several themes to try but when it says that i have selected it as my current theme, when i view my site it still has the old exford theme on it. im going maddd!!!!!!

  What is the full address of the site you’re working on? If it is a free WordPress.com site it is easy to change themes but remember that existing images from previous themes will carry over and not every theme lets you modify the background.
