Help, help, help!

I just started a blog about a week ago. I just tried to add new content, but it won’t let me. I also cannot find anything on your website that tells how to upload a user’s own pictures to their blog. Did I choose the completely wrong format? Which of your formats allow a user to add new content and new photos to their blog? I may have to have my account completely scrapped by someone at WordPress so that I can completely start over from scratch with a format of WordPress that will allow a user to add new content and/or photos whenever I can find the time. I am not tech savvy in the least, so I will need a very, very detailed step by step process that will tell me exactly how to edit and upload photos to my blog. Thank you.
