  I am struggling. I have a domain that I bought fro godaddy. I tried to use your software to set up a website but am struggling. I don’t even know what I have done so far so just want to delete it and give it to a pro to start again.
  Please advise

  Hang in there! You should be able to get your site up and running! Below is some information to help you get started.

  Starting with your GoDaddy domain. Mapping an existing domain to your WordPress.com site can be done using the domain mapping tool. You can find more information about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  You will also need to update the DNS within your GoDaddy account, you can find more info about that in the attached link here: http://support.hostgator.com/articles/how-to-change-godaddy-name-servers

  In addition, while WordPress.com doesn’t offer a build service, support is available on these forums for anyone using the Free plan. Paid plans include some additional support options:
