Help! How can I insert a link to an HTML page in my website?
-
I have an HTML page that I want to insert a link for into one of my blog posts, but I cannot see how I can do this. I’ve tried used box.net but the images in my HTML page don’t appear when I use this, and Scribd doesn’t support HTML files. I also cannot share it via Google docs. I’m in desperate need of help with this as my site is going live in the morning!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you find someplace to host that HTML file for you, then you can just link to it like you would for any other link. There are some free hosting services around and you can Google to find them. I’m not familiar with them, so I can’t give recommendations.

This workaround sucks but might help.
Paste your html into a word processing program that support html then print the document as a PDF file then use Scribd or something like that – not one I would like but should work.

Hi guys,
Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I’ve looked into some free hosting sites, but none are jumping out at me, and I’d like to give over some more time than I have right now to look into this option properly. I also tried to convert to pdf, but I lose the background colour and some of the other style formatting. So for now, I’ve saved the HTML file as a jpeg and inserted it directly into the post, with the option to click on it and have it open in a new window. Its not ideal, but I’ll go with it right now so that I can get my page up and running for 10am this morning.
Thanks so much for your help. It was a late one last night, huh?! And I had to be up at 5am this morning! I don’t function well on 5 hours sleep… Oh well. Wish me luck for going live at 10am!
