  How to pay for my renewal for sdxgusa.com. Thanks!

  The blog I need help to pay for is SDXGUSA,com. I am on my dashboard, but I do not see a button to pay for the renewal. Thanks!

  Hi there,

  The domain sdxgusa.com was registered by another user account (not staystrangesam). Do you have another account at WordPress.com that you might have registered this under?

  Right! This was under Clint Davis’ name. Any way we can still put it under my name? He initially helped me get the website but has since dropped out of any involvement. And if not, can I let it expire and then use the name under my own name?? Thanks Jeremy!

  Ah! So, the domain can only be renewed by the owner of that upgrade (so Clint in this case). In order to transfer the domain to your name, we would need to have a request directly from Clint. If you’re still in contact with him, could you ask him to email help@wordpress.com asking to move the domain under your name?

  And if not, can I let it expire and then use the name under my own name?

  We could definitely go this route. However, it’s probably not going to be quick. The expiration process takes about 90 days in total. During that period, someone else could actually register your domain, which wouldn’t be ideal. If no one else registered the domain, it would become available again for registration after around 100-110 days.

  Let’s try the first option (contacting Clint) first before we think about the second!
