HELP – How do I re-buy my plan?

    I bought a plan and then got confused and inadvertently cancelled it. I need to cancel the cancellation and use my originally paid for domain name. How do I re-buy a plan that uses my originally chosen domain name of theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk please?

    The option isn’t coming up for theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk it is showing theonlywayisnotessexcouk.wordpress and comes up at £27… The amount I paid was £48

    If I purchase it will I get the one I originally wanted?

    I’ve found the place to buy the domain but the name hasn’t been released for me to repurchase it

    I’m following on from your reply in this thread. There are no WordPress.com accounts connected to (redaced), which is why you haven’t received any emails at that address.

    You asked us to cancel and refund theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk — which parked the domain and made it unavailable for new purchases. The original Personal plan was also refunded but if you purchase a new one (without registering another domain or trying to select theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk), we can restore the domain and plan back to theonlywayisnotessexcouk.wordpress.com.

    Please reply in this thread (rather than creating a new one) when you’ve done so and we can take care of that for you.

    Just to add — the email address mentioned above will need to be added to your Account Settings page if you would prefer to receive WordPress.com emails at that address :)

    Please confirm the domain willbe theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk ‘not’ theonlywayisnotessexcouk.wirdpress?

    The one I originally purchased is the one I want

    It isn’t coming up. Has it been unparked?

    I don’t profess to be an expert on these things but having read the earlier posts this is how I see it:
    The Registrar for theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk is Tucows. The nameservers are still pointing to WordPress.com. If you purchase a Personal plan (and only the plan…don’t fill in any domain details at this stage) for theonlywayisnotessexcouk.wordpress.com at this link https://wordpress.com/plans then staff say they’ll be able to connect your .co.uk address back to your wordpress.com site so that it will just that .co.uk address that displays.

    @themagicrobot     is correct. Basically we just need you to pay for your plan again, without registering another name, so that we can restore theonlywayisnotessex.co.uk for you.

    Since you’ve had some trouble with that, though, I can also just make an invoice for you and have you pay that. I’ve sent a link. Please pay that and update us here, and we’ll restore the plan and the domain that way. Thanks!
