HELP: How to avoid Resource Limit Reached.

Hello Everyone.
I really do not know what is wrong, On 14th of Feb 2018, my site crashed and was returning a resource limit reached error.. I checked and found out that I was ranking in the top 3 for the keyword “Valentines day Images” and every other related terms. .. Maybe it was excess of traffic,
OR as a result of the Images I was hosting i clearly do not know.Again I have written about Easter 2018 and its currently ranking, Now I am scared, I do not want what happened in Feb to happen again. Could it be the Images I loaded on the page was too much?
Please someone help me. What should I do please?
