Help! How to get my domain to point to my blog
-
I have several domains registered with wordpress (.com) and I want each of them to point to the corresponding blog. Right my new one ourgussie.com (purchased through wordpress) goes to my blog thebusyfinch.com. How can I fix this? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think the answer will be in your WordPress.com dashboard – Store->Domains
Presumably you’re look for :
ourgussie.com -> ourgussie.wordpress.com
thebusyfinch.com -> thebusyfinch.wordpress.comThere are various help documents @ https://en.support.wordpress.com/category/domains/ , in particular https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/ and https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/
If on reviewing these and the settings in your dashboard, you’re still unable to get it configured correctly, please let us know.

THank you. But, when I click on the Map it! and enter the domain that I purchased through Word Press, it says it is already mapped to a wordpress.com blog. That blog is thebusyfinch.com which is mapped through word press. I don’t want it to be mapped to that site, it is unrelated to this blog.
It should be:
ourgussie.com -> ourgussie.wordpress.com
thebusyfinch.com -> thebusyfinch.wordpress.comBut none of the suggestions above allow me to do this. Please help.

YW … OK, so my idea of how you want them mapped is correct …
I feel it must be possible to do this oneself via the interface, but I can’t recreate (and therefore provide instructions) personally as I only use one domain name on WordPress.com …
Staff should be able to either – explain in detail how to do what you want, or access the backend and do it for you. I’ve flagged for their attention.

Hi there,
I moved your domain ourgussie.com so it’s linked to the blog ourgussie.wordpress.com. You’re all set with that. :)
If you ever need to move your domains (or other upgrades) around in the future, you can do that using the “Transfer to another site” link on your My Upgrades page.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that!

@busyfinch — You’re welcome!
@doncharisma — Once a staff member has replied to a forum thread, you don’t need to re-add the modlook tag. When you reply it will get our attention. :)
