Help! How to turn off sticky header in Coutoire theme?

    I have searched all over the customizer menu and am not able to locate the button to switch the sticky header off. This is for the Coutoire theme. Anyone able to help with this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

    It’s not in the Customizer menu. See the Sticky Posts (Posts Only) section of the Post & Page Visibility support page.

    Hello there, are you referring to Coutoire’s Site Title and header navigation which scroll with the page? You can see it at work in the theme’s demo site https://coutoiredemo.wordpress.com/

    If so, it doesn’t appear that’s a feature of the theme which can be turned off. It might be possible with CSS but that would require an upgrade to at least the Premium plan.

    @virtualassistant833324964     I was just thinking about this a little further. If you like Coutoire’s front page layout, but don’t like the theme’s menu behavior, see if this doesn’t work for you.

    Activate a different theme that you like the static menu and social menu positions and color scheme, then do one of the following:

    1. In the Pages dashboard, open your site’s Home page to edit it. In the right sidebar you should see a section > Page Layout. If you click the Change Layout button that will take you to the Pages Layouts where you can select the Coutoire layout. NOTE THE WARNING that pops up when you click that button as your existing home page content will be overwritten with the new page layout.

    2. If you have already created home page content that you do not want overwritten, add a new page and select the Coutoire page layout from the options at the bottom of the page. *(See below)

    3. Add a new blank page and recreate the layout of the Coutoire home page by following the guide on the theme’s Showcase page https://wordpress.com/theme/coutoire

    *I just noticed that Coutoire’s homepage is not currently offered in the theme homepages section of page layouts, so I’ve flagged this thread for Staff to bring that to their attention.

    Hm, the home page layout should be applied automatically to the set static home page.

    Is that not happening?
