Help – how to upload a *.swf banner to my wordpress?

  Hello,
  if anyone knows how can i upload a *.swf banner to my wordpress blog i would really appreciate it. the reason for which i try to upload this banner is not in order to make money, but to raise awareness to the Abducted Israeli Soldiers Campaign.

  Good idea. Won’t work, unfortunately. SWF uploads are not possible.

  should i mention that i have the wordpress.org account? my blog is http://www.measuresoflife.com

  i upload my own files via a server..

  If you can’t load an swf file why does the upload dialogue for media say the following?

  “You are using the Flash uploader. Problems? Try the Browser uploader instead.”

  Can we upload a .flv file?

  The uploader we use is programed using Flash. That’s what the sentence means. So, no, we still can’t do anything with Flash here.
