HELP I AM NEW TO BLOGGIN how do I add more rants to my blog?

I dont quite understand how do I add new rants to my blog as I dont know and each time I click new post it give me a totally new blog I want to add a continuing entry to my already started blog how do I do this please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you create a new blog post & publish it, it will show up on your home page of the same blog.
If you want to edit your existing blog entry, please go to Posts > Edit.

No, I would like to continue adding to my current blog. I dont want to keep making new ones each day or each hour. I want to keep adding as things develop. I dont mean to edit the one post I already made. But make daily entries without having to start a new blog each day.

Your blog, or your site, is made up of posts, or if you like, call them rants.
Each post (or rant) appears on your blog in order of when you wrote it. Dates appear on each post (or rant), and in some themes, the time will also appear. Your latest post will be the first one your readers will see. If you publish one post per day, it will be a daily record of what you wrote. If you make a post in the morning, and then a new one in the afternoon, then the one in the afternoon will be the first one your reader will see, and the one in the morning will be the second one.
To add new posts to your site ( or your blog or what ever you call your online presence) just go to your dashboard —> posts —> add new —> write and add pictures —> publish.

If you are in the same day and you want to add to the EXISTING rant for that day, just make sure you’re signed in to WordPress and then look at the post and somewhere you’ll find an Edit button. Click it and add your thoughts to the existing post, then hit Update Post, which will be where Publish was when you originally made that post.
You can also edit any post right from the dashboard. Go to Posts and then hover over the name of the one you want to edit, and a bunch of options will appear below the title, including Edit.

Thank you all very much, so each day I will make a new theme then and if I have more to add on that day’s theme I just edit correct? thanks a bunch. So my original starting rant wont be seen anymore I take it?

It will be visible under the newer rant, as will further rants. Older rants will be accessible through the Archives menu.

yes, that is correct.

No, that is only correct if you set your blog to display only one post at a time. That’s easy: just go to Settings->Reading and set it there to display one post. Then if people want to read previous ones, they can click NEXT POSTS.

Use the filter option (on the right) to filter for themes with custom headers, click apply, and you will see thumbnails of the themes which allow custom headers.This document is not quite right because it tells you that you can use the “crop image” feature to select part of an image for your header. But the “crop image” thing is broken: you must upload an image the exact size needed for your header.

If you want to use a background image, you can filter the themes to see which ones will let you use a background—not all of them allow that.
