The “Home” tab is not a page to be found under Pages>Edit; it’s a link to your blog front. And it’s built into the theme: you cannot edit or remove it.
Your blog front can be either your most recent posts or a static page. If you want no posts, then you’ll have to do the second (in Settings>Reading).

This is my other blog and on this blog I have written something on my home tab by editing it. I am unable to do this on the newer blog and this is what i would like to do.
Sorry i am not explaining myself very well – im still trying to get to grips with wordpress. Thank you again for your help.

You have written a post on that blog. “CWU Youth Humanitarian aid. May 5, 2009”
To add more posts to that blog, or to add a post to your first blog, go to your dashboard, and select Edit > Add New. Write and publish.

In that blog you haven’t “edited” the home tab, you have edited the sample “hello world” post.
A tab is a clickable word or phrase. The Home tab is designed to link back to your front when clicked. Your front can display posts or a static page. What you referred to as a “comment” is a post. To have posts in your front, you go to Posts > Add New and create them. To edit already published ones, you go to Posts > Edit.
