Help I can't find trash floder
-
Help please! I deleted a blog post and I want to restore it but I can’t find the trash folder in my WP admin. It is not listed with the other links (all, published, sticky, drafts, etc…) in Post. I have looked at the directions to find the trash folder but it is not helping me because I do not have a trash link.

Hi there,
I don’t see the name of your website, but are you able to see your posts on the updated WordPress dashboard? You can access the new dashboard at https://wordpress.com/posts/*yourwebsitename*.wordpress.com
We can give you more information if you tell us the name of your website. Thanks!

How long ago did you delete the post? The trash folder only keeps items for 30 days or until permanently deleted, whichever comes first. If you don’t see the link to the Trash folder when you’re looking at all posts in WP admin, it’s because the folder is empty and you don’t have anything that you can restore. (You can double-check by tacking on
/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=postto the end of your blog address. That will take you directly to your posts trash bin.) -
Or you can go to https://wordpress.com/posts/my/trashed/*yourwebsitename*.wordpress.com (or just plain old https://wordpress.com/posts/my/trashed/ if you just have the one site) to see it in the new dashboard.
