HELP! I CAN'T GET IN MY WEBSITE! i wanted to buy a plan to chat live, regarding my already exis
-
I have been trying all day long to get into the back end of my website. I had set up a blog site with you, that i have yet to use, but it seems to keep taking me there verses my existing website. I used the back way to try to log in to word press through the www…./wp-login.php. I have a username the programmer used and I don’t remember the pass codes as I haven’t been on my site for a long time(divorce, so had changed all the pass codes and can’t find) and now need on
it immediately. I enter the correct email address to reset the code and it sends an email, I type my new passcode and hit enter and when I go back to reenter the information it states it is the incorrect passcode. I called GoDaddy, they said I have to talk to you and I haven’t spoken with the programmer for around 3 years, and I have attempted to retype and hit submit and have it not work for no less than 8 hours today! PLEASE HELP METhe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: http://nancydemarchi.wordpress.com/
What I post below applies only to sites hosted by WordPress.COM, not to wordpress.org Godaddy hosted sites.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
You can update your email address here https://wordpress.com/me
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
If the login information has been lost go to
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-passwordIf you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Hi there,
What is the URL of the site you’re trying to access?
I used the back way to try to log in to word press through the http://www…./wp-login.php.
WordPress.com sites don’t have a login via /wp-login.php. That, and your mention to GoDaddy, tells me you are using the self-hosted WordPress.org software. If the password reset option on that site is not working, you’ll need to log into the site’s database directly to fix things from there.
GoDaddy should be able to help you access the database or the site’s files via FTP, but they don’t provide support for the WordPress software, so once you’re in you’ll have to fix things yourself.
You can find instructions for what to do here:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
We are not able to help with this, as we don’t have any access to your hosting account or your site’s files on GoDaddy’s servers. If you need more help, the best place to ask is the WordPress.org forums, but note they’ll only be able to offer advice as the users on that forum also don’t have any access to your site’s server with GoDaddy. That is how self-hosted WordPress works.
