Help I Have TOO much Spam

How do i get rid of spam? Even with Akismet comment spam filter I am still getting 10+ spam messages every time I log on. I’ve placed their sites in the blacklist area and they still find a way to get through. I’ve disabled comments completely because of all the spam and they still get through. I really need and want this garbage gone because I operate a Christian blog and these comments have nothing to do with God or my blog at all.

Set your comments to moderate, usually lots of spam is because you approved spam in the past – mark the spam as spam – but see below for a bigger problem

My blog is not suspended or in violation of the TOS. I have turned off comments completely and I’m still getting 10+ spam comments a day. I am not the one causing the spam. I’m the one that’s getting spammed.

What he’s saying is that your spam issue isn’t important compared to your Terms of Service violations. They will get your blog suspended and removed.

So how do I stop people from spamming me? I’m not the one sending the spam? That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I don’t want the junk that’s been sent…and I can’t seem to find any way to stop it.
So my original question still stands. How can I get this crap to stop?

You cannot stop spammers from attempting to spam you. You can prevent their spam comments from showing up on your blog, and you have done that.
