HELP! I just crashed a wordpress.com Blog

  I was trying to add a line of code per the directions of a wordpress plugin and I apparently altered the code in functions.php that has now crashed the site. Please Help me asap!!!

  I can’t access the ftp because it’s a wordpress.com site. I am fearing the worst.

  Here is the error code —-

  Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/smashcutculture/public_html/wp-content/themes/sparkling/functions.php on line 255

  I am the support team :)

  I know the web address name is through GoDaddy, is that what you mean by accessing the site’s files. Because the blog is set up soley on wordpress.com and we all access the dashboard through the .com . Nothing to do with wordpress software or .org. I know the difference. Thanks.

  Are you talking about this site smashcutculture.com? If you are, that site is not hosted through us, so I’m not sure how I would help you. I don’t have access to that site’s files or anything.

  Because the blog is set up soley on wordpress.com and we all access the dashboard through the .com .

  Do you have another site? What is the link to your site? Please provide me the link URL with .wordpress.com at the end of it.

  Thanks Grace – but is there anyway to access the wordpress dashboard anymore for my site. When I try to login at smashcutculture.com/wp-admin and I get now is

  As seen by that login URL you have a self-hosted, WordPress.org site like I mentioned before. You will have to contact your host. From what I can gather about your domain, I believe it may be hosted by GoDaddy – I’m not entirely sure? It would be your nameservers as seen here:

  https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=smashcutculture.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
