Righto, hello there.
I have a namecheap.com domain.
I have a wordpress blog.This is about it.
So I ideally want to know how I can get my http://www.ashleighinglis.com to redirect to ashleighinglis.wordpress.com
I found a really nice layout on here I would like to use for my site.
Do I need to be premium for this to work? I’m still new to all this website stuff, I managed to sort out the name cheap end of things..I’m just so confused how I get the url of ashleighinglis.wordpress.com to become http://www.ashleighinglis.com but have the wordpress site visible..

http://www.ashleighinglis.com already is redirecting to https://ashleighinglis.wordpress.com/. So whatever you did must have worked. The site is publicly visible.

Do I need to be premium for this to work?What’s the layout you refer to? Do you mean a theme? It is not necessary to purchase the Premium Plan in order to purchase and use a Premium theme.

If I upgrade to premium and get rid of my “free blog” does this automatically remove ALL of the advertising in my posts? I recently discovered that the main body of the posts are being loaded with this tripe and I find it annoying.
Assuming I make the switch to premium to get rid of the ad’s, will it apply to ALL OF MY POSTS or just from the point on (day of the upgrade)?
I understand why they are there, I just don’t want them, and I have over 1700 posts which would be virtually impossible to do over.

There is no domain mapping upgrade for ashleighinglis.com here at WordPress.COM. If you would like to use this domain to map to from http://ashleighinglis.wordpress.com/ then you will first need to set up domain mapping.WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made it and the domain mapping purchase here every year.
Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually and a domain name purchase and domain mapping are included in the Premium ujpgrade bundle.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com sub-domain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL.
If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the WordPress.COM blog, and as you own a domain URL already, you can see here for mapping an existing domain. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
It can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

Okay, I put up a question, I was told it was NOT to be put there, but to go HERE, so I did, started what I thought was a NEW thread on the SAME question.
All I want is an ANSWER TO THE QUESTION and all I am getting is this.
I have no idea as to what you are talking about my dear, I honestly have a clue. All I am trying to do is get some help on an upgrade and removal of some ad's.
Seems pretty simple to me.
