Help… I need to merge accounts

  I some how set up two accounts and need to merge them. Can that be done?

  Hi teanba, it’s a bit of work, but we can help you through!

  1. Choose which account you want to keep

  2. Transfer sites/upgrade ownership to that account: https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  3. Swap out the email addresses if needed (you can use a third address or alias to do this)

  If both of your accounts have blogs linked to them, then I would suggest transferring all of your WordPress.com websites from the account you wish to close to the account you wish to keep, then closing the account you do not wish to keep.

  You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased any upgrades in order to transfer the blogs and any purchased upgrades to your other account.

  It might also be a good idea to log out of your accounts and clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in under another username account.
