HELP: I need to undo all changes completed to my website today
-
How can I restore the web cached version of my wordpress page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
This is an empty site https://fyp1516.wordpress.com/
Provided Google indexed the site you refer to which you did not post the URL for here you can copy and paste from their cache versions.
Proved the content made it into the Internet Archives Wayback machine https://archive.org/web/ you can copy and paste from cache ed versions.
-
If you had posts and pages here http://fyp1516.wordpress.com/ and you deleted them, provided 30 days has not passed since the deletion you may restore from Trash https://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash
-
If you permanently deleted posts or pages https://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#permanently-deleting-a-post-or-page Staff cannot restore it.
If you deleted a site Staff cannot restore it.

Thank you for replying.
Its not the fyp1516 page I am looking to change, it is a different wordpress site. Its also just a menu change that I made in error but it will not change back.
I cannot see that site on the wayback machine link but I can on the google cache archive. I know google does not work with php so from what I have read it will not help anyway.
When copy/pasting what editor sheet should I paste it to or is there a tutorial for this?

Hi there,
We cannot help you with a self-hosted WordPress website, as we have no access to your dashboard or your site’s files.
You can ask for help in the WordPress.org forums, but it sounds to me like you want to revert changes and that’s only possible if you have a backup file from before you made the changes. If you didn’t make a backup before working on your site, there will be no way to revert.
You can find the WordPress.org forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/
You can also try contacting your hosting provider for help. Perhaps you’re lucky and your hosting plan already includes a backup service, in which case your hosting provider should be able to help you restore your site.
