Help! I think a widget in footer has wrecked my site?

  So, I was happily tinkering in my new blog and I’m sure I did something bad. I’d just installed a popular “recent posts” plugin and tried to use it on my homepage but, when the shortcode wasn’t doing the trick I tried putting it in a widget area. I could only find the footer, so I put it there. Suddenly, I can’t do anything. I’ve tried every option I can find in WP admin to get back into customize the theme, or edit a page, or even view the site, but I get only “500 Internal Server Error”.

  No idea if that’s enough info to sort out my issue. Any suggestions?

  Hi Kenny,

  I can find in WP admin to get back into customize the theme, or edit a page, or even view the site, but I get only “500 Internal Server Error”.

  I’ve checked kennygrindall.life and there are no 500 errors at the moment so it looks like you’ve got this sorted now. If you need any further help or the site still isn’t functioning properly from your end, just reply here or start a chat and we’ll be happy to take a look.
