Help! I want to cancel my wordpress account before the 48 hr period is up

    I am trying to hit cancel and refund under store>my upgrades>cancel and refund but after clicking the radio button under cancel and refund my 99 dollars there is no button to hit to send.

    Please help

    Going to store>my upgrades> does not work.
    The directions given by wordpress are totally useless.

    It says this on my upgrades page:
    -You can use the “Cancel” button on My Upgrades if available or Contact support if you want to request a refund.

    …”If available,” are you kidding? why would it not be available? If you “contact support” you are left with only a FAQs page and advice that echoes the “Go to store>my upgrades…” where there is no cancel button.

    You don’t learn a websites true colors until you try to cancel a service with them. Unbelievable

    and if my message wasnt clear, I want all my info removed from wordpress and my 99 dollars back. I am hoping a wordpress employee reads this and helps me out as their seems to be no other alternative to having the clearly listed option of cancelling and getting a refund fulfilled.

    For starters

    Domain Name: REEDDOUGLASJONES.COM
    Registrar: ENOM, INC.

    Creation Date: 11-oct-2013
    Expiration Date: 11-oct-2014

    Registrar: ENOM, INC.
    Reseller: NAMECHEAP.COM

    Is not registered at WordPress.COM and is way over the 48 hour time frame anyway.

    So that puts you in the 30 day refund window not 48 hours for the package.

    You need to be logged in as the EXACT account / user that owns any upgrade to cancel it.

    Since the $ 99.- package has domain name registration included (domain registration does not need to be used) it might need staff help for the cancel – so I will flag this for staff attention in case you need more help

    Thanks, I appreciate it.
    I have been logged in as the exact user, (I only had one account on there anyway.)
    I purchased that domain name then from another site, and the wordpress package today.
    I am well within a 48 hour window as far as my relationship with wordpress goes.
    I will be very grateful when this is resolved

    You used the domain mapping part of the upgrade for reeddouglasjones.com to map it to an existing blog – domain mapping is also a 30 day refund window

    The 48 hour window is an internet standard for domain name registration –

    The staff have a real good record of fixing things

    The upgrade has been canceled as requested. You can change the name server records of your domain to point it to a different hosting.
