Help importing from unsupported platform

  I’m trying to import a blog from http://www.tabulas.com. I’ve tried following WP’s suggestions of converting it into a Blogger (etc) blog, then importing it here, but I can’t seem to do even that. The only form of export Tabulas offers is an xml backup of the blog, but whenever I try uploading and importing that to Blogger, it gives me an error (Blogger isn’t clear about what kinds of files they accept). I’ve also tried TypePad and it gives me the same error, and I’ve sent a request to have Posterous look into the Tabulas website. Can anyone suggest anything else to do at this point?

  If you can get an XML file of the blog, you should be able to import that with some help from staff. Contact them via your dashboard Help button and they’ll be able to walk you through the process or help you in a more hands-on way.
