Help! In 2.7, I can no longer put my newest post on top!
-
I don’t know whether anyone else is having this problem.
I am using the latest version of Safari.
Up until yesterday, when I wrote a new post, I had the option of clicking a box to make sure the newest post would appear at the top of my page. In 2.7, I can’t find this box anymore, and my newest post is all the way at the bottom — after my very first post. And I can’t get it to move!
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thank You!
~Deirdre
PS. I followed instructions, cleared out browser cache, etc. Nothing happened.

I just fixed the problem in explorer. Later, I’ll try Safari again, and I’ll let you know whether it’s cooperating.
Thank you for the help,
~Deirdre

I’m using “ChaoticSoul by Bryan Veloso” and I can’t find the “post newest on top” toggle, is it there or what do I need to do to post my most recent on front page at the top of the page? Help. I’m using firefox latest version

Click on the “edit” link to the right of “visibility in the “publish/save section. It is now hidden there since so many people were setting all of their posts as sticky posts, not understanding exactly what it was for.

Your newest post automatically appears at the top of the page UNLESS you’ve been setting posts to sticky. You shouldn’t ever need more than one or two sticky posts (which always remain at the top of the page), so you shouldn’t need the box to tick.

And please give the URL of your blog when you ask a question here (or link your nickname to your wp.com blog).
