Help in changing the name of my blog

  My wordpress site name is dadsmatterdotcom.wordpress.com and I don’t know how that happened. I would never have put “dotcom” as part of the name of the site. Is there any way to change it? I already purchased premium upgrades for this site so I don’t want that affected and I love the domain name I purchased, but this underlying name is pretty stupid.

  We add the “dotcom” portion to your WordPress.com URL when you purchase a domain. This address is internal only since you have a custom domain. It will only be used for your admin pages (dadsmatterdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin). Your readers will not see this URL, they’ll see dads-matter.com.
