Help In Setting Up a Redirect

  Hello, I recently changed the domain for my blog from cdfai3ds.wordpress.com to cgai3ds.wordpress.com. Whenever I go to the old domain I see “cdfai3ds.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site”

  My question is if there is any way to set up the WordPress Site Redirect (https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/) to transfer the traffic from the old domain to the new one. From what I’ve read it seems possible, but I havent found exact instructions, and prior to paying I would like to know 100% if this redirect will work for what I need it for.

  Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

  You cannot redirect from a deleted blog URL to any other URL.

  https://cdfai3ds.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.

  No. I’m sorry but the URL is gone forevermore and there’s nothing you can do now.

  I had the same question. I wish I had known before there would be no redirect. Do you know if all the followers from a blog are still connected after a change in URL?
