Help in transferring site

  Hello, I set up a website with wordpress over a year ago, but now have one with Wix which I have attempted to transfer the domain name to by following all the instructions I keep reading. It still does not direct to Wix and neither does it show my old one in WordPress. Please help?

  Alright, sachabaldwin.com still seems to be using the WordPress.COM nameservers, and the domain redirect to ns0.wixdns.net which is a Wix Nameserver not a domain name.

  You have probably setup a redirect instead of actually updating the nameserver values of your domain so that it points to your Wix site.

  So do this:
  1. Update the name server values of your domain with Wix’s nameservers by following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
  2. To get the nameservers of Wix, read the Wix support guide: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-name-server-records or else email Wix asking about the nameserver values.

  NOTE: When a nameserver value is updated it sometimes take about 72 hours to propagate that change throughout the World Wide Web, so do not panic if the domain does not work instantly.
