HELP!!! IS THERE A SETUP WIZARD????????????

I want a simple blog to post updates and family pictures for family & friends that live all over the country! I want something simple (I am savvy with FB & simple online tools), but I am not a techie by any means! Also, I am new to blogging. I want something I can just set up easily, to look pretty & post my info & this is driving me CRAZY! How do I get started easily? I don’t want to have to read through an hour of instructions, I do not have time for this! If this is not the basic blog “for beginners” that is advertised, then tell me now so that I can cancel & go to Blogspot, or another user friendly blog. I would have just cancelled, but I can’t figure out how to do that either! WTH?? HELP! ANYONE?????

http://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-started/The thing is, any platform is going to have a learning curve, but really, once you get started here, it is all pretty intuitive and the vast majority of people catch on pretty quickly.

The people that don’t read at least the short Quick Start don’t turn out well – they wast a tone of time on simple things and then show up in the Forum with all sorts of questions – which are usually answered with two sentences and a link back to what they should have read to start –
The quick start referenced above is short. I doubt it is 15 min. And if you think blogspot is better guess again – every system has a learning curve – I have found the WordPress basics to be not too hard if the start Docs are looked at –
Good luck – this is a good platform with lots of people that will help you if you do a bit of introduction reading.
