Help! I’ve bolluxed everything up!

I am trying to move a couple of self-hosted blogs to wordpress.com–one that I built for my husband and one for myself. I created the wordpress.com blog for my husband and imported the files, but found that as I had created it with my username, I couldn’t figure out how to use his byline rather than mine as author of the posts. Thinking that I had to establish it in his name, I created a user account for him and, thinking I would start over, changed the name of his blog (in my username) to something else so I could use that name. It didn’t work. Then I transferred the blog to him, but forgot to change the name back before I did it. Now I cannot figure out how to access the blogs dashboard. The original self-hosted site is http://www.cityofsmoke.com. The one I created for my husband is called http://www.cityofsmoke.wordpress.com but I can’t get a normal dashboard on it. Meanwhile, the first thing I uploaded, now called http://www.smokeandmirrors.wordpress.com has all my husband’s stuff on it but with the wrong blog title and the wrong author byline. Should I just kill myself before he kills me?
