Help – just deleted my gallery page!!
-
I’m trying to set up a 2nd blog site, and was having a hard time figuring out how I had entered my images in my first site. So, I went to my 1st blog site (crystalswatercolorart) and it said something like there was a newer updated version – but the editor page was blank. I clickied ‘save’ and it ended up just saving a blank page. Can I recover all my images that I had on there? That was days worth of work!!! Help!!! So frustrated right now!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have access to the page editor of the page in question? If yes, continue on to the next paragraph of my response. If no, you should be able to find the page at My Sites > Pages, or at wp-admin dashboard > Pages > All Pages.
See the Post and Page Revisions support page for information and instructions regarding finding and restoring revisions.

The action of saving a revision of a page which previously had a gallery of images does nothing to remove the images. They will still be in the media library and in the gallery. You’ve just got the find the revision you want. It should be one of the most recent revisions.
Alternatively, if convenient, you could simply recreate the page content, because the gallery will still be there. See the Gallery Shortcode section of the Galleries and Slideshows support page. The most basic gallery shortcode is
[gallery]
